OLD BUSINESS:

The replacement mower has broken 3 times in 2 weeks, we decided to replace it with a brand-new mower at the meeting for kid’s camp. We found a riding mower for $936 with a 5-year warranty, Martha paid for the mower and the club will make payments back to her.

J&D will remove the tree by the garage for $750 and clean up all the mess. Martha called 3 places for quotes and decide on J&D because of their reputation. The club will pay $500, and Martha and Toad donated the other $250.

At the last dueling tree shoot, we had 4 shooters, and sold a new membership.

We had a total of 8 kids at kid’s camp, and we’ll start coming up with new ideas for next year. The boy scouts came out and helped all day

New Business:

We hade a complaint about a member and we discussed the issue tonight, we all agreed that our hands are tied because no one has broken any rules on the property.

We have a total of 5 teams and 10 sponsors so far for the golf scramble, Paul’s still working on sign more people up.

A person contacted Martha about working 240 community service hours, she will work with them to determine where those would be best served.

Kids fishing day will be August 10th and we’ll be open to the public that day. Kids 15 and under fish free, 16 and over, including adults, will be $5 – Catch and Release only.

A scout expressed interest in doing a project for the club for his eagle scout badge. Mike talked to him and to Darrel, Martha talked to the insurance company, and a fishing peer will be built in the south pond by Bob’s camper.

Town and Country wants a “Corporate Membership”; we talked thru a few options and decided on 10 memberships for $250, Paul will contact them.

Bob’s been cleaning up limbs and trees, Dave Mclure mowed around the edges of the pond. Paul added that Bob needed to have the landscaping timbers and picnic tables painted by the Chili Supper.

Dave is going to talk to Mike to see if they want to donate their extra fridge to the club for Bob to use.

Meeting was adjourned.
